Can't hook my PS2 up to my Vizio television?

My PS2 has the standard Red, White, and Yellow plugs. I put them in the corresponding colors in the television. The PS2 is plugged into the wall socket as well, as it should be. The colored plugs on the television have 'AV2' printed under them, but that imput doesn't show the PS2. I went through every imput and they all just said 'No signal'. Am I just missing something?
