Can you get paid to be an Ontario SPCA inspector?
I want to be an Ontario SPCA inspector or officer for mainly livestock but want to work full time, that would mean i would have to get paid. I would have no other job. Is it possible to get paid to be a full time Ontario SPCA inspector? If it is how to become one? What schooling is needed? Do you have to be a police officer or when you become an Ontario SPCA inspector is that one of the things that comes with it, because Under the act every inspector of the Society has and may exercise the powers of a police officer for the purposes of the enforcement of this or any other act or law in force in Ontario pertaining to the welfare of or the prevention of cruelty to animals. This allows OSPCA inspectors to lay charges under all of Ontario’s legislation that affects the welfare of animals as well as the Criminal Code. Please Help!
