Change to Kaiser HMO's prescription drug refill in 2011?

I went in to pick up my prescription medication yesterday, and instead of getting my usual 90-day supply with a single co-pay, I only received a 30-day supply for the same co-pay. Have they changed something for the new year? I read from somewhere that the only way to get more than a 30-day supply now is through mail order. Is it true? Thanks.
