I have a jaguar and i can't open the boot?

I had a lots of rubbish clothing in my cars boot and i can't figure out how to open it. I tried from the keys and from inside the car and it still does open. I think the clothes must somehow gotten stuck? what other option is available? should i seek help from the manufacture or should i ask the inspector in my town?
