The number of days to resolve a pest problem?

I currently have a BedBug and Roach infestation problem that I reported and I was told that it would be 7 days before they could get an inspector out. Is this a reasonable time frame? Please keep in mind that I am having to bear through 7 days of painful itching and possible inflamation, including any new bites i may accrue from the 7 day wait. I reported it Friday Morning. Inspector scheduled for Friday Next Week.
